The journey of Skylight Nha Trang continues

TK Nguyen, Co-Founder of Skylight Nha Trang, recounts the journey of Skylight Nha Trang: “In 2014 when we arrived in Nha Trang, our initial plan was to build a resort or hotel. However, serendipitously, we discovered the rooftop of the Havana Hotel, offering panoramic views of the city’s central beach. Recognizing the lack of a distinctive rooftop venue in Nha Trang, we decided to establish Skylight Nha Trang, introducing the Skydeck 360˚ and the first Beach Club on the rooftop here. We have created unforgettable memories for thousands of guests, from birthday parties, and proposals, to weddings…

Our idea is to elevate Nha Trang to compete with the top beach destinations in Southeast Asia like Phuket (Thailand) and Bali (Indonesia). Over the past nine years, we have transformed the nightlife scene here, attracting experienced managers, mixologists, DJs, and performers to enhance service quality. Witnessing our staff grow and succeed in their roles fills us with great pride.

Moving from Hollywood to Nha Trang has been the best decision of my life. It has allowed me to pursue my passions alongside loved ones and contribute to the development of Vietnam’s tourism industry.

As we commemorate Skylight’s significant nine-year milestone, I encourage you to trust your journey and pursue your dreams. In the 2016 production “Journey To Skylight,” TK Nguyen once shared, “Nha Trang is stunning with its amazing beaches. We aim to bring a unique and entirely different entertainment experience to Nha Trang compared to other destinations. Here, visitors have more choices, whether relaxing at the beach or joining our rooftop parties.”

These milestones mark Skylight’s memorable journey over the past nine years

• 2014: At the end of the summer of 2014, Skylight began its journey with groundbreaking construction, marking the start of a new icon in the Nha Trang skyline.

• 2015: One year later, in April 2015, construction was completed. On July 3, 2015, Skylight joyfully welcomed its first guests, opening a promising new chapter.

• 2016: In the summer of 2016, Nha Trang’s premier restaurant officially opened, offering guests an exceptional culinary experience. That same year, Skylight was honored by TripAdvisor as one of the “Top 10 Emerging Destinations in Asia,” alongside Khanh Hoa Tourism and Visit Nha Trang.

• 2017: After two years of operation, Skylight made a strong impression with a total of 678,648 visitors. Many successful special events were organized through collaborations with renowned brands.

• 2018: 2018 was a splendid year as Skylight was voted No. 1 out of 1,400 must-visit destinations in Vietnam by Weibo and ranked among the Top 5 things to do in Nha Trang by Timeless Charm Vietnam.

• 2019: Skylight continued to shine with TripAdvisor recognizing it as one of the Top 10 Best Restaurants in Nha Trang. Many bloggers and television stations, both domestic and international, visited and wrote about Skylight. The total number of visitors in 2019 was impressive at 462,819.

• 2020: The Covid-19 pandemic posed numerous challenges, but Skylight stood resilient, supporting its team to overcome this difficult period.

• 2021-2022: Post-pandemic, Skylight joyously reopened its doors, welcoming guests back with renewed excitement.

• 2023: Skylight returned stronger after two years of the pandemic, reopening in May and celebrating its 8th anniversary with Team Skylight. This is a testament to Skylight’s resilience and unwavering spirit.

With each milestone, Skylight not only marks significant growth but also reaffirms its position as the leading culinary and entertainment destination in Nha Trang.

Skylight’s memorable 9th Anniversary Celebration features a special program dedicated to women. On this day, all women will receive free entry. The night will be filled with vibrant beats from DJ Xeon and mesmerizing magic performances by renowned magician Dương Bình. Especially, you can also witness a spectacular fireworks and paper lantern show at 11:00 PM, promising an unforgettable evening.

July 4
